ABC Construction was formed in 2005 by Cliff Thomas. In 2008 Pamela A. Short joined the management team. The ABC Construction Management Team possesses over 75 years of construction industry expertise specializing in commercial renovations. ABC Construction is a Virginia Class A Licensed General Contractor. Our service area includes all of the Washington,DC-Baltimore Metropolitan area. we are licensed and insured in accordance with  local, state and federal regulations.

Helpful questions to think about as you evaluate your
kitchen and bathroom needs.

In the kitchen :

• Is there enough cabinet, shelf and storage space?
• Do the cabinets feature time-saving accessories such as roll out shelves, divided drawers and accessible corners?
• Is the cabinet door style and color up-to-date?
• Is the cabinet finish in good shape?
• Is there a place to store recyclables?
• Is there enough counter space where you need it?
• Is the countertop material easy to clean and in good condition?
• Are the counters the right height for you to work comfortably?
• Are all or your appliances easy to clean and in good working condition.
• Is there a good ventilation system in the cooking center?
• Based on the way you cook, are the oven and cooktop where you want them?
• Do you have a microwave oven, conveniently located?
• Is the refrigerator/freezer large enough?
• Are there enough electrical outlets and adequate lighting?
• Do you have task lighting above the countertops?
• Is the kitchen arranged so that traffic is directed away from the cook's activities?
• Is the room attractive and inviting to family and friends?

In the bathroom:

• Is the bathroom big enough?
• Is the shower safe (non-slip floor, grab bars, bench seat, temperature-controlled faucets)?
• Is the bathtub safe (easy to get into, faucets within reach, non-clip bottom, grab bars)?
• Is the sink at a comfortable height for washing your face or brushing your teeth?
• Is the cabinet finish attractive and in good shape?
• Is there enough storage space for your grooming equipment?
• Is there space for towel storage in the bathroom?
• Is there sufficient ventilation?
• Is there adequate lighting for shaving and putting on make-up?
• Are all the electrical outlets protected with ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCI) to prevent electrical shock?
• Can two people use the bathroom comfortably at the same time?
• Is the room attractive to family and friends?
